Pelagos FXD is a highly praised, purpose-built titanium tool dive watch for the French Navy, known for its rugged "FiXeD" strap bars, exceptional legibility (matte black dial, big markers, bright lume), comfort, and precision MT5602 movement, offering a pure, no-date dive experience with military-inspired aesthetics and robust, no-nonsense functionality that many find superior for everyday wear despite its 200m WR and fixed lug design. The FXD case is made of titanium and measures 42mm wide, but the thickness is down from 14.3mm to 12.75mm in the FXD compared to the regular Pelagos. Also, the bezel is wider for ease of use and has 120-click action. The fully lumed ceramic insert remains while both the bezel and the dial are now a slightly darker (navy) blue than the somewhat more saturated color used on the standard Pelagos Blue.
