Updated with more power, greater water resistance, higher legibility and a compact construction for maximum comfort, this Limited Edition, available in a controlled production run of 6,000, with the serial number engraved on each caseback, celebrates the 60th anniversary of Seiko’s 1965 first diver’s watch. This watch features a silver patterned dial that draws inspiration from the “wave” mark, created in 1962 as a symbol of high-grade water-resistant timepieces and displayed on the casebacks of Seiko’s divers to this day. The dial layout also boasts improved symmetry with LumiBrite coating on the hands and all 12 markers for enhanced visibility. Powering the watch is an upgraded movement with 3 days power reserve. This Seiko conforms the ISO standards for scuba diving to depths of up to 300 meters and boasts an upgraded bracelet made up of links with a short pitch and a specially developed slide adjuster clasp with a double lock.
