The Planet Ocean is an extremely robust and technically impressive dive watch, celebrated for its staggering 6,000-meter depth rating and status as Omega's flagship diver. Released in 2022 as a production version of the prototype that went to the deepest point on Earth, the watch is noted for its high-performance engineering but oversized dimensions. The Ultra Deep collection is offered in two materials: the highly scratch-resistant, proprietary O-MEGASTEEL, or Titanium. This is the O-MEGASTEEL version. The 6,000-meter depth rating is the most significant feature, exceeding the operational limits of all human and most submersible dives. This extreme resistance is achieved by a hermetically sealed case that eliminates the need for a helium escape valve.
