The Master Control World Geographic is an extraordinary, high-horology travel watch that instead of a standard GMT hand, it features a 24-city disc at 6 o'clock. The hour disc synchronizes a second time zone automatically when you select a reference city.
Unlike JLC's standard Master Geographic, which only shows one secondary time zone at a time, the World Geographic variant lets you see the time in all 24 principal world time zones simultaneously by pairing an outer city ring with a 24-hour chapter ring.
The case features a distinctive twin-crown layout. The crown at 2 o’clock controls the revolving outer world city ring, while the crown at 4 o'clock is used for winding and setting the primary and secondary time zones.
Underneath the sapphire caseback sits the beautifully finished, in-house JJLC Caliber 936 automatic movement. This caliber features rhodium-plated bridges, Geneva stripes decoration, and a stunning array of heat-blued screws.
Because it was only produced for roughly half a decade following its launch at SIHH in 2006, it remains highly uncommon. If you love complex dials, dynamic wrist presence, and need a travel companion that tracks the global clock seamlessly, it is an incredibly rewarding piece to own.
